Whispering Creek Bed & Breakfast Policies

ACCOMMODATIONS: Each room is set up to accommodate up to 2 people.  Our facility is not equipped to accommodate children.

 

Early/Late Check-In: We are always happy to try and accommodate early or late check-ins so you must contact the Innkeeper for special instruction if you wish to arrive before 1pm and after 6pm.

 

SMOKING – Whispering Creek Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking property indoors. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas and is limited strictly to tobacco products.  Incense and candles are NOT allowed at any time.

Marijuana use, including medical marijuana, is prohibited anywhere on the property, including but not limited to guest rooms, bathrooms, balconies, patios, common areas, outdoor spaces, and designated smoking areas.  Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees, charges for damages, or immediate termination of the guest’s stay without refund, at the discretion of management.

This policy is in place to ensure guest comfort, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all.

 

PETS - There is a $50 per stay per room fee for bringing pets on property.  Maximum of 2 pets per room and up 65 lb maximum weight per pet.  We want your pet to enjoy their stay so we will provide furniture coverings, a water bowl, treats and clean up bags.  We all want to stay in a clean environment so please clean up after your pet on property and while walking your dog.  Dogs must be on a leash when not in the room.  Furry companions are not to be left unattended in the room without being kenneled and if you are walking your dog during the summer heat, please remember the pavement will burn your pets’ paws so booties would be a good purchase prior to your arrival.  Pets are not allowed in the dining area at any time with the exception of service animals however you are welcome to bring your pet onto the patios.  Please leave the furniture covers and water bowls upon departure.

 

CANCELLATION:  Reservations cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.  Reservations cancelled inside of 14 days of arrival will forfeit all deposits and reservation will be non-refundable.  All no shows will be charged the full amount of your stay. 

We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control.  For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.  We cannot be responsible for unused nights due to late or canceled airline flights, family emergencies, threat of bad weather and other travel-related mishaps or for changes in plans which shorten your stay.  Travel insurance is available from several providers online to inexpensively protect you against unexpected events.  The Whispering Creek B&B will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and about your reservation.

CANCELLATION:  Important Changes as of January 31, 2022: By now we can expect all our guests are well aware of the risk of further CoronaVirus spread, and as such, the risk they are taking when making new reservations.  Therefore, all new reservations made as of January 31, 2022, will be held to our standard cancellation policy.  Our standard cancellation policy is detailed below

We want to thank our veterans and active-duty military by offering a 15% discount.  Just enter the coupon code MILITARY2026 when booking online and we will adjust your rate on our end.  Be sure to bring your military ID with you to show at check-in. Discounts cannot be stacked.  Only one discount per reservation.
